What is Hydrea?

Hydrea Capsule is used for Blood cancer, Blood disorders, Cancer affecting blood cells and bone marrow, Cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow, Sickle cell anemia, Solid organ tumors and other conditions. Hydrea Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Hydrea Capsule contains Hydroxyurea as an active ingredient.

Hydrea Capsule works by inhibiting DNA synthesis of cancer cells.

Hydrea Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  • Blood cancer
  • Blood disorders
  • Cancer affecting blood cells and bone marrow
  • Cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow
  • Sickle cell anemia
  • Solid organ tumors

Hydrea Capsule Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Hydrea Capsule improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:

  • Inhibiting DNA synthesis of cancer cells.

Hydrea Capsule - Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Hydrea Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. Hypersensitivity to Hydrea Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Hydrea Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Pregnant
  • Severe anaemia

One should not drive a vehicle if using the medicine makes you drowsy, dizzy or lowers your blood-pressure extensively.
